The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.
What is recorded when you visit
When you open this website the server automatically records in a log file: the shortened IP address, the date and time of access, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the message confirming successful retrieval, and the browser and operating system.
This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the page and to recognise attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation. The logs are deleted after seven days and are not combined with any other data.
This website sets no cookies, embeds no fonts, maps, videos or buttons from third-party servers, and uses no analytics or advertising tools.
SSL and TLS encryption
This site is delivered over HTTPS only. The connection between your device and the server is therefore encrypted and cannot be read by third parties. You can tell by the address beginning with "https://" and by the padlock your browser shows.
An unencrypted connection is redirected to the encrypted one automatically.
How long data is kept
Unless this policy names another period, your personal data stays with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you assert a right to erasure or withdraw consent, the data is deleted unless there are legally permitted grounds for keeping it — for example commercial or tax retention periods. In that case it is deleted as soon as those grounds fall away.
The server logs are deleted after seven days.
Getting in touch
There is no contact form on this website. If you call or send an e-mail, I process what you tell me in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract is being prepared, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Your message is kept until the matter is settled and no statutory retention period requires otherwise. Spiritual companionship for individuals is anonymous; no data is recorded in it.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of the personal data stored about you, and the right to rectification, restriction of processing, erasure and data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time without formality; the lawfulness of processing up to that point is unaffected.
You also have the right to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. Where you ask for the data to be transferred directly to another controller, this is done only where it is technically feasible.
Objection to advertising e-mails
We hereby object to the use of contact details published on this website for sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising being sent, for example by spam e-mail.
Hosting
This website runs on a server in Germany. The provider processes the log data described above on our behalf, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Nothing is loaded from third-party servers: the fonts, images and scripts all sit on this server. No third party therefore learns that you have visited this page.
